Human beings always used tools and collaborated with one another to achieve what is far beyond our innate capabilities. Artificial intelligence (AI) is quickly becoming integrated into our daily lives at work, at home, and at institutions of learning. Exploring this powerful new tool and preparing for the future will determine the course of human history. A lofty aim, for sure, but like all lofty aims, it starts with one small step. That is why we started AI To Learn: an AI literacy curriculum built from the ground up, based on real experiences of creators and thinkers, innovators and dreamers.
AI LITERACY THAT ENDURES
Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping the conditions of learning, creativity, and work. In this environment, truly human-centered AI literacy must be understood not merely as a technical capacity, but as an enduring disposition: a cultivated orientation toward using AI in ways that support human flourishing. This philosophy positions AI literacy as fundamentally about empowering individuals to learn, create, and act with purpose, rather than simply mastering tools or keeping pace with technological change.
